To have a chance, you must construct an industrious flying city capable of sheltering your people and catering to their every need. Your city’s population and economic engine will form the backbone of your struggle for survival against the Dream Plagues. Run short on food, resources or housing and despair will quickly set in, leaving you just as vulnerable as being exposed to the nightmarish denizens ravaging the wilderness.
Careful planning and automated production lines will be critical to keeping your citizens housed, fed, and their morale high. But fortifications and defensible positions will also be paramount, as you must hold off the Plagues’ incessant assaults for as long as feasibly possible. The ancients could not withstand them forever, but you have one major advantage – the mobility to take your entire city airborne and flee when the situation becomes untenable.
The flying capabilities of your Nomad City will be your greatest strength, but they will also necessitate tough decisions. Your buildable area is finite, so you must choose wisely between expensive permanent upgrades to expand your infrastructure or more disposable structures that can be jettisoned when relocating.
